Course Presentation within an Interactive Book

I use interactive books fairly frequently, and I have included Course Presentations within an Interactive book before. It seems like it's no longer possible to do this though, the option under the "add content" menu no longer includes course presentation. Is there a fix for this or was it an intentional removal for some reason?

Hi Catherine,

Are you creating your contents here in H5P.org? If so, to provide the best possible experience for new users and to ensure that people use H5P.org only for trying out H5P (we've had more traffic than our server can handle lately, ref also the warnings when you create content, embed content and view the content) there are limited content types that are available.

Check the getting started page for information on how you can use all the content types and use H5P for real. We unfortunately are not able to provide free hosting, only free software :) Hopefully you'll consider supporting the H5P Core Team by using H5P.com.

Hi,

Thanks for your response. The company I work for has an online learning platform which uses H5P embedded within it, I believe we have a licence for full usage and I've used it to create lots of online learning content in the past, it is just this one feature that I've been having trouble with: including Course Presentations within Interactive Books - this appears to have dissapeared since the last update (I think we had an update last month!)

Hi Catherine,

I can only assume that you meant H5P.com when you said you have a license. If this is the true your administrator may have disabled Course Presentation inside Interactive Book. To re-enable this they need to go to Manage Organization -> Settings -> Content types settings and place a check under "Allow inside other types " for Course Presentation.

The other explanation might be that you caught one of the patched versions of Interactive Book and/or Column that some people spread and could cause such an issue potentially, cmp. https://h5p.org/node/1496390 - so I hope it's really H5P.com that was used.
