Using Libre- or openofficecalc to create content for mathematics with fill in the gap.
Sers H5P-community,
in my case Libreoffice helps me with creating content for my primary-students. In the 3. class they have to exercise with different written forms of money. E.g.: 344 Cent are 3,44 Euro. Or 3 Euro and 44 Cents are also 3,44 Euro. Here Libreoffice calc could help to generate an amount of exercises. First I've tried with flash and dialogcards, but there I was on a wrong way. So I use course-presentation and there fill in the gap. In LO I've used the function random area to generate different areas of cent amounts, prepare the corresponding enclosing cells with text, Cent, Euro and the necessary * * and copied all of this to the exercise, that was open in lumi. In this case it was fill in the gap within a course-presentation. Correction of the layout granted to my wishes. And that it was.
Of course, this can also be applied to a variety of exercises. Even if you need random jumbling of individual exercises, calc does a good job here by generating a column with random numbers and then sorting the individual exercises as data according to this random number.
[Edit: Here is a sample ods for converting cent to euro: http://lingopedia.de/wp-content/uploads/Cent-Euro.ods]

Thats almost the same- Only possible under moodle?
Sers community,
that is almost the same as in my intention. Make a whole lot of exercises to exercise ;-)

But it is only possible with moodle or I'm able to solve it with a textbased database?
