embedded youtube videos not playing in Chrome browser?

Hi!

I noticed this morning that all the youtube videos I have embedded into interactive books and course presentations are not playing when I'm using Chrome on my Mac. They play fine in Firefox and Safari, and Chrome on my iPhone. I've disabled add blockers, etc., and restarted Chrome, but it doesn't solve it.

I've attached a screenshot of the error message, which points me to this less-than-helpful help file. 

I've also attached a screenshot of the errors from the Developer tools.

Hi kylemackie,

From your description of the issue as well as from testing this myself the issue points to the Chrome installed in your browser. Below are some things that you can try:

  1. Clear cache, note that depending on the choices this may remove your saved username and passwords
  2. Use incognito mode
  3. Reinstall Chrome (you may lose data in Chrome so do this as a last resort and at your own risk)

I hope this helps however please note that the issue is between YT and Chrome.
