audio not working in course presentation

Hi,

I'm making a course presentation and Im trying to add audio to narrate. This is all in moodle on google chrome browser.

I can not get the audio to play at all (I would like it to play automatically, I have also tried uploading several different file types (m4a/mp3). I can download the audio and it will play however.

Is there anything silly I am missing? or can anyone think of any reasons why this is not working?

Hi all!

And is it only for autoplay? There are some browser policies that prevent autoplaying media, e.g. if the user has not interacted with the page. They are intended to prevent annoying ads, but other software like H5P may be a victim here, too.

Thanks Oliver that is what I was about to explain. If it is on the first slide and auto-play is enabled it will not work but from slide 2 it should work because the browser will detect that the user has interacted with the page.
