Essay type questions

Hi, I've used Essay type questions before but over a year ago, it suddently disappeared as an option to use in h5p at all. I found an old page with zip folder to download and then upload to h5p to use, so I can now use it again, however, it won't allow me to copy and paste the question type/content and therefore I can't use it in something like a quiz set or interactive book.

Is there anyone who can help with this? Or can this be added as an option again?

Hi breshontale,

If you are creating your contents in H5P.org there is not way to enable/disable contents. To provide the best possible experience for new users and to ensure that people use H5P.org only for trying out H5P (we've had more traffic than our server can handle lately, ref also the warnings when you create content, embed content and view the content) there are limited content types that are available.

Check the getting started page for information on how you can use all the content types and use H5P for real. We unfortunately are not able to provide free hosting, only free software :) Hopefully you'll consider supporting the H5P Core Team by using H5P.com.

On the other hand if you are creating contents in H5P.com contents can be enable/disabled by going to Manage Organization -> Settings -> Content Type Settings. You need administrator rights to access Manage Organization.

If you are using the plugin for Moodle, Wordpress, or Drupal you can change the access to contents through the library settings. This will also require admin access.
