Auto-play not working

Dear H5P Team,

I am currently using the Branching Scenario feature in H5P, and I've encountered an issue with the "Auto-play video" option. When selecting a branch that leads to a Panopto-hosted video, the video does not auto-play as expected, even though the "Auto-play video" option is enabled.

Interestingly, this functionality works seamlessly when using YouTube-hosted videos, but not with Panopto.

I recently spoke with a Panopto engineer to explore whether this could be resolved on their end. However, they indicated that this issue would require direct collaboration with your team. Specifically, they suggested that someone from H5P reach out to Panopto to address and resolve the auto-play functionality.

Could you please initiate contact with Panopto to investigate this matter further? I believe resolving this would significantly enhance the usability of the Branching Scenario feature for those of us relying on Panopto-hosted content.

Hi,

Something interesting has happened. I have downloaded the h5p file from the Moodle page where I've created this branching scenario and have reuploaded it here: https://h5p.org/node/1518597

For some reason, when it's uploaded on the h5p website, it works, the videos play automatically. I thought if I reupload it to Moodle, this might work, but the same issues persists. The videos do not play automatically. I wonder if it it's a Moodle issue. What are you thoughts on this?

Hi Eugen,

It is not specifically a Moodle issue. I uploaded your content into my Moodle and it is working as expected. I'm not sure where the problem is coming from but it could be either some setting between your Moodle, Panopto, and/or the browser.
