Using HP5 in Blackboard without LTI integration

I wish to trial the HP5 functionality in Blackboard Ultra documents, which I believe is done through an option to embed HTML (with a view to pushing the IT dept for LTI integration if I am happy with the experience). Is this possible? The guidance claims that you need a webpage with plugin to begin - I have no idea where to start with this. I do have a (free) wordpress account, but it is asking me to upgrade at significant cost to add the plugin. I don't like the idea of using the test area if it public. Are there any other ways I could do this (for free)? Please note: as with most users, I am not proficient in HTML or how to host HTML, so please bear this in mind in your response (other responses I have read appear to assume this knowledge). Thanks.
