Hi Meri,
This is not a bug as there is no save button for Cornell notes. If you want the content to save the notes make sure that you enable "Save Content State" in the H5P settings if you are using the H5P plugin. On the other hand if you are using H5P.com to host your contents you need to enable the content resume feature.

Hi!Actually there is a "save"
Hi!
Actually there is a "save" button and has been for about half a year including a ticket on the H5P ticket system that you can monitor to track progress. It allows you to actively store content which is useful, because the "save content state" feature here only kicks in in regular intervals (every 30 seconds by default).
The H5P core team, however, still is a bottleneck as all updates of contributed content types need to run through them or one would need to (build and) install the required libraries from 3rd party sources. The source code is available on github. A demo content using a later version of Cornell than provided by h5p.org is also available. Please note, however, that the "save content state" feature that BV mentioned still needs to be active.
Best,
Oliver

Hi again!
Oh, there's one thing that should probably be mentioned: Meri, you only mention moodle 4.1, but you didn't mention whether you are using moodle's custom H5P integration (the one with the content bank and the blue H5P symbol, created by moodleHQ) or the H5P plugin for moodle (with a black H5P symbol, created by the H5P core team). The former does not allow to store the current state and to resume later, it does not support H5P's "save content state" feature.

Oliver

Hi Meri!
Where did you click on "save content state"??? No, moodle's custom H5P integration does not support H5P's save content state feature yet. There are discussions about implementing it (e. g. at https://tracker.moodle.org/plugins/servlet/mobile#issue/MDL-67789, but you would need to ask MoodleHQ about details or progress information. The H5P core team is not involved here.

Hi Meri!
I see. If I understand you correctly, you are using both, moodle's custom H5P integration and the H5P plugin. Changing any settings in the H5P plugin will not change anything in moodle's custom integration and vice versa. Those two run absolutely independently from one another, don't share libraries, contents, etc.
Cheers,
Oliver
