X Position and Y position

Hi,

I used the interactive video plugin its really awsome. Now I want to know is when the h5p added the label it shows position X 340 and Y position 120 but when checked in h5p content.json it is stoerd as 53.4563677 and y is 9.5654656. Wanted to know why is this conversion if so then what's the logic for this conversion as I need the actual positions. If you can point me to some link will also do.

Hi, In the authoring tool it uses pixels as far as I know. In the content.json it uses percent. Pixels because they are easier to understand and relate to for most people, percent because it has to work on any screen size.

Hi, Thanks for confirming my assumption. But I had an issue in terms of the alignment. I am using h5p as a video template where the admin will put his positions where he wants the text/label to appear and internally I read the content.json file in the corresponding positions i add other text now when doing so the text is always center aligned and because of which not able to place it correctly. If you could give some thoughts would be great.

I don't think I'm able to fully understand what your are trying to do here. Which content type are you adding to the videos? Advanced text or label? And someone creates an interactive video with labels, and then after he has done that you run a script and replaces the label texts, and after replacing them the labels are positioned differently/not according to the coordinates in content.json?

Found something also when used the interactive video from h5p the information is quite smooth, but when installed it on the drupal the version behaves different.
