Hello all! Before I start digging into H5P, I would like to know if I can achieve what I need to do with this:
Image hotspots that show text or images when clicked, but the video in the background must continue playing, not stop while you watch the clicked hotspot content.
Show how many hotspots have been clicked so far in total.
Run the finished video offline either on a Mac or an iPad.
Is this possible? If yes, what do I need to do? If no, any idea which tool I can use to make this, as simple as possible?

Why would you do this

Because I need to do it.
To be more clear: It's an interactive help system that shows more and more possible hints as time goes by, but the hints should stay hidden until the images are clicked, which will reveal the hints, while the overall timer (= video) continues to count down (= video plays, showing the timer and playing some music).

Here's why
The use of this is: The video displays a timer running down, and plays some background music, for the duration of a 75 minute long live teambuilding event. So this video must go on, no matter if anything is clicked or not. During the team event, images should appear, and people can click those to get more information about a certain thing that is relevant at that point in time.

Hi yodazhang,It is possible
Hi yodazhang,
It is possible but not exactly how you described it. Currently images that you insert in Interactive Video can be clicked however it's function can either send the user to another part of the video or to another site. There a workaround by placing a "text" that is set as a button on top of the image and once it is clicked it will show the "hint". I have created a simple example here: https://bv-demo.h5p.com/content/1291740103313222889

Video stops
Yes, but here, the video stops while the text is visible. The video must continue playing, since it is a timer. It must not stop.

Hi yodazhang,
You're right and upon checking there really is no way to do this not unless there are additiional features to the content i.e. add a feature so that when clicking an image you can see a text while the video is playing.
P.S. I moved the post to the feature request forum
