No score anymore in Find the Hotspot

Bugs in content types

Hello H5P team,

I found many other topics about this issue.

But, I have no idea of how correct that in my environment. Here it is :

  •  Recently, it seems that "Find the Hotspot" is no longer able to save results and scores
  • I use Wordpress (5.8.1)
  • On desktop (but I think the problem appears in mobile too)
  • I tried on Chrome
  • The H5P plugin is 1.15.4 (no update banner in Wordpress)
  • The H5P content type is "Find the Hotspot (1.8.17)"
  • I don't find any errors
  • In my screenshots, you can see a Hotspot exercice that already has a score line in our base, but doesn't add any more
  • I see no final Ajax request on https://www.example.fr/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?token=xxxxxx&action=h5p_s... as other quiz can do
  • Adblock is desactivated

Please, what can I do ?

Hi!

That's a bug that has been fixed, but the fix still needs to be released.

Thank you for you rfast anwser !

When this fix will be released (approximatively) ?

Our platform will be published soon and I have to know if I have to desactivate Find the Hotspot items before the release.

I integrated H5P items into a random training where total score is calculated, so score is needed for each items in that particular use.

Hi Lucas,

I think this is due for the next release (scheduled before mid Aug) but I have to verify with the release manager, I'll keep you posted.

Hi Lucas,

The update is not through the core plugin but instead just with the content. You can update this by clicking on "update" in the content description screen.

I cleared the H5P content cache on admin wordpress page /wp-admin/admin.php?page=h5p_libraries but the update button is not aviable.

I have other updates aviable as Question Set or Multiple Choice, so can you explain me how to update Find The Hotspot ?

Hi Lucas,

Not sure why but can you just try uploading the attached test content in the H5P editor, I already this and it should be working properly.
