Question set - multiple choice gets all the points with 1 good answer

Hello,

I've been working on a Question Set which includes 6 questions and only one of them is a multiple choice type. But the multiple choice question has been having issues whenever we test it.

For this question, there are 3 right answers except that when test it, the quiz accepts 1 answer as the ultimate right answer.

Example :
In CasC(2).jpg, the right answers should be n°2, 3 and 7. Except that only answering n°2 gives you all the points. Which doesn't work with the other two right answers as you can see in CasC(3).jpg and CasC(4).jpg
I first thought it was a problem of pourcentage of success, but if it had been, answering any right answer on its own should give all the points. (+ I've made sure all the parameters are at a 100%.)
Moreover, when I refresh the page, the single right answer getting all the points changes. One time it was n°2, then n°7, then n°3, etc...

I have tried deleting the question and rewritting it, I've tried changing the answers, but the bug is still there. Does anybody know why this is happening and how can i fix it?

Thank you!

Hi!

Hard to tell without access to the content type and a step-by-step description, but there was a bug in Multiple Choice related to scoring that was fixed already, but possibly you are still running the buggy version. You might check whether you are running version 1.14.8 of Multiple Choice and if yes, if installing version 1.14.9 if Multiple Choice helps.

And if the problem persists in version 1.14.9, I suggest you provide access to the content, either by attaching it here or by posting a link to it.

Best,
Oliver

Hi!

Thank you for your answer! I will check the update version we have as soon as I can. In the meantime, I've tried to attach a H5P file of the buggy quiz set I was talking about but the website won't let me (see attached screenshot) so I am guessing there really is something buggy about this content.

I will update on the situation today, thank you again!

That error message simply tells you that the file is too large. I assume h5p.org has some upload limit.

I have updated the Multiple Choice type earlier this morning and it solved the problem. Thank you so much for bringing up that idea. It seems that between the moment we created the content and this week, there was an update and so we didn't think of updating.

Regards,

Marine
