Tables in app

Hi,

I created a table in H5P and embedded it in a Canvas page. The desktop Canvas page displays the table very well; I set the table as width 100%. However, when I access the same Canvas page in the mobile app, the screen does not allow to scroll horizontally to be able to see the content of the table. I can only scroll down and up.

I can see the entire table in the mobile app if I tilt the phone horizontally.

How could this be resolved?

Hi nvjch,

Would you mind providing the information below:

  1. Where are you creating your contents to embed it in Canvas? H5P.com, H5P.org, Wordpress, Drupal or Moodle?
  2. Which content type are you using to as container for Table Course Presentation, Column or Interactive Book?

I created the table within the Column tool in H5P wordpress

I set up the widtch as 100% . This works fine in the desktop but not in the Canvas mobile app. The content of the table in the Canvas app is cut off. See the images for reference.

Hi nvjch,

I suggest that you reach out to Canvas mobile, H5P contents are tested on most browsers/OS but not on Mobile apps.

Hi,

I'm trying to put together two scientific notations of the sort {H_2}0 and {Fe}^n  in the same line for the activity Mark the Words so students have a choice to make. But only one of the notations displays correctly and the other does not (it shows the latex code instead). Any tips on how to fix it?
