Correct answers marked as wrong in fill-in the gaps

Hi!

From time to time, answers that are correct are marked as wrong in "fill in the blanks". This only happens to some of the students some of the time.

We have tried to reproduce the error, but with no success. We are completely clueless as to why this happens.

This is very confusing, and I would be very grateful for any help.

I'm afraid the link that you provided is not working.

Anyway I created a test content using your screenshot as a guide. However I am unable to reproduce the issue, my testing may actually be flawed since I am either using the alt code for å to type the letter or copy/pasting it. I suspect that this is caused by the differences in devices. Would you mind checking with your students that are having the issue what device they are using.

I have tried typing, alt code and copying too, with no difference. I have seen this strange behaviour with gaps without æøå as well, so that is not the problem.

I will follow your suggestion and try to find out which device the student is using.
