The interactive video does not appear in the list, I cannot access it

Hi Claudia,

To provide a best possible experience for new users and to ensure that people use H5P.org only for trying out H5P (we've had more traffic than our server can handle lately, ref also the warnings when you create content, embed content and view the content) there are limited content types that are available.

Check the getting started page for information on how you can use all the content types and use H5P for real. We unfortunately are not able to provide free hosting, only free software :) Hopefully you'll consider supporting the H5P Core Team by using H5P.com.

when you embed interactive video in course presentation, it breaks the saving of course presentation ... it throws an error and will no longer save your progress, what slide, etc.... as soon as you remove interactive it works fine. The problem is with getcurrentstate. thank you. the

 [3:06 PM]it's erroring there, and then it wont autosave anymore

Hi sbarab,

Do you have a sample content that we can use to test. I tried reprodusing this but I am unable to do so. Also if you can provide the following:

  1. H5P plugin version
  2. Course Presentation and Interactive Video library versions

I have a prof who created two interactive videos.

The one in which it was an embedded YouTube video works fine. Grades pass to D2L gradebook.

The one in which the prof downloaded an Mp4 (I believe) video file from myMediasite, uploaded to Interactive Video, and added interactions - this one does not pass the grades to the D2L grade book.

Is it known why this is happening?

Hi lambrel,

The sending of grades is not based on where the video is hosted.

There are several possible reasons why scores are not registered in your LMS:
  1. Students are not triggering the content to send scores. You can check the list of triggers in this documentation.
  2. The H5P is not set up to send grades. Please check the following:
    • Edit the content and at the bottom, under the option "LTI settings" please make sure that "Choose when to send scores to the LMS" is not set to "Never".
    • If you are not seeing this option, you need to enable this by going to Manage Organization -> Settings -> LTI settings and make sure that "Send score to LMS" is not set to  "Never".
