hi everyone,

I hope you are all doing great!!! I was just wondering why can't the interactive video / video web record like the mini audio recoder?? Why do we have to record and upload... it would be a great time saver with everyone moving to online learning to have a webcam recorder added!!!

Dear fnoks,

I think it is time to give us at least a beta version of the mini course content type as we start 2020 acadamic school year.. (i have been waiting now 3 years lol) A way to organize unit plans would be highly apprciated by all eductors :-)

Hi farrisimin,

The reason why Audio Recorder is not included in Interactive Video or any other complex content type is it has limited browser support. If a someone uses a browser that does not support Audio Recorder the whole content may not work.

For the mini course I'll make sure to let fnoks aware of your request ;-)

Yes, Mini Course has a build chain for building the files. Webpack will be installed along with other node.js modules if you run

npm install

inside the folder. You will have to have node.js installed, of course :-)

You can then run

npm run build

to build the distribution files.

WOW that is amazaing!!! I was able to follow along!!! Thank you so very much fnoks, thank you oliver.. A bit complicated compared to the regular upload of h5p content... Completely in love with this content type!!!!

Well, the primary goal of that process is to make life for developers easier, not to use github as a storage for content types ;-) Glad you figured it out anyway!

Awesome!!! how about the webcam video recorder, to leave video messages for your student currently we must record the video and upload it!! Will be possible to record it right into the browser?? (saving the whole step of record save and upload) Just a thought :-)

Thank you this very informative video on mc... I tried to upload it but get an error that some files are not allowed to be uploaded.. I also tried to upload it to the development folder that did not work either!! A little direction would be highly appreciated!!!

Hi oliver,

I was super excited to see mc finaly work on my drupal installation, as I was preparing lessons I noticed that the circular meters on the right hand side were not working.. so I removed the code and reinstalled it following the npm install and npm build webpack but got an error that left me without mc once again! is there a way to fix this? your help is greatly appreciated!!

It can probably be back to life, yes, but there's a reason why Pål has not declared it done yet. That may have been a bug that may return.
