Integrating contact formular into H5P

Hi Everyone, 

 

I just wanted to ask, if someone has experience with integrating some kind of contact form for coursist into 

the H5P content? Is it, for instance, possible to integrate a link into an interactive video, which makes a contact formular pop up?

Hi Malte!

That's not possible without changing the code, but you can, of course, link to a form outside the video or use a freetext question - requires to activate LMS-dependant interactions. The answers can then be picked up via xAPI, and on moodle they'll be put into the gradebook.

Hi Oliver thank you so much! I also have a question to H5P- APIkatchu. 

And it works fine, but it's not easy to make sense of the data for a beginner like me. 

I downloaded the CSV file, but it' only shows a long list of people who attempet, dowloaded etc. 

Would you recommend a program to combine Apikatchu with? And would it also be possible to read 

a freetext from the coursist?

Hi Malte!

You can learn more about the plugin and xAPI at https://www.olivertacke.de/labs/2017/12/27/gotta-catch-em-all/ H5PxAPIkatchu is not intended to offer simple reporting, but to provide those who do not wish to an external Learning Record Store with some similar but basic functionality. Reporting would still need to be put on top in some form.

You could simply use a spreadsheet tool of your linking to filter the data. I assume you're only interested in the "completed" results of some particular content types.

I have no clue whatsoever what a coursist is.

Got it :-) I thought Coursist might be some kind of software or service.

I have been thinking about creating a reporting solution for H5P running on WordPress similar to the one in moodle, but I may have to find funding for it first.

H5PxAPIkatchu can retrieve the xAPI statements emited by H5P contents it's actually created by Oliver ;-)

An LMS is probably overkill. I don't know if something exists, but maybe you could build it with WordPress + plugins and you can use a xAPI LRS as a backing store.
