Interactive Video Free Text Grading in Moodle

Hello.

I am unable to grade an Interactive Video Free text - type question in Moodle. When I review a student's Report, I see their answer and can give them a score. However, the "Submit grade" button remains grayed out (see attached image) and my score does not save. 

Please help.

Hi.

Unfortunately, I am experiencing this in our school Moodle LMS that only school accounts can access. It seems like others would also have this issue. Has anyone brought up this problem before?

Hi BV.

I tried to score the free text question in the interactive video you sent and was unable to click the Submit grade button. On further investigation, however, this appears to be a browser problem. I discovered that I can not click the "Submit grade" button for a free text question using Firefox (I'm using verson 66.0.05 64 bit), but the button and free text grading works fine in Chrome (I'm using version 80.0.3987.149 64-bit). 

I'll advise our faculty to use Chrome when grading free text questions. Thank you for your help.

Hi Laurie,

I'm glad you were able to isolate the issue. I'm still puzzled though since this is working in Firefox on my end. Maybe the version as I'm using Firefox 74 in a Windows 10 PC.

I am trying to do an interactive video on Moodle (the pluggin is installed) and i was trying to add a free text question, but it does not appear (I attach an image). Why is this happening?

Hi Silmayor,

You need to enable "LRS dependent content types" in the H5P settings for Free Text Question to be enabled in Interactive Video.

I have the same issue (using Moodle + H5P), we have "LRS dependent content types" activated in the H5P settings, however the button to add a Free Text Question does not show up in interactive video. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I activated "LRS dependent content types" but I still cannot see a button for the Free Text Questions in Interactive Video (moodle + h5p).

Hi fv32,

THe libraries for free text may not be installed in Moodle. I suggest that you download this content (which includes all activities for IV) to make sure that the libraries for free text is installed.

I already have a library installed with free text in Moodle. Which library are you referring to? I could only see a link to the video with the interactive video.

If you download the content I linked to and upload it in the H5P editor install the libraries for free text in IV.

where in Moodle can we change that?  I have the same issue.  No search on Moodle docs tells you where to access this setting...

Hi skillhunter,

It should be in Site Administrator -> Plugins -> Activity Modules -> H5P -> H5P Settings. Please note that this is for the H5P plugin (black H5P icon) not the core integration from Moodle (blue H5P icon).
