new quiz doesn't show

Good evening,

I love H5P. I've created more than 270 quizes for my website using your tool.

Previous, acceptable situation: My dictation quizes can only be created in explorer and were only accessable for students when using Chrome.

Current, not acceptable situation: But now my created courses are no longer visible in Chrome. What can I do?

Hi Gijs,

Sorry for the late reply. In order to give your bug report the best chance of getting answered, please include the following information:

  1. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug (exactly how and when did it happen)
  2. Platform and version number. E.g. Drupal, Wordpress, Moodle.
  3. Mobile or Desktop
  4. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  5. H5P plugin version
  6. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL or attached H5P.
  7. Any browser console errors
  8. Any PHP errors
  9. Screenshots if it's a visual problem

The more information you provide, the quicker the community will be able to fix it and the quicker you'll have a working solution!

Ok,

First. All quizzes that ask audio (like dictation) I create using internet explorer and not chrome. Because Chrome always tells me "TypeError: Cannot read property 'split' of undefined" when I try to upload audio. But once finished I have to check and test them using chrome. Because explorer doesn't support speech recognition. So just creating a quiz using audio is already a mess..

Quizes created worked great till last week around the 23 januari, like these dictation quizzes here. After that those dictation quizzes just no longer show in Chrome. I can still create them in explorer. But I can't see them in Chrome. Empty quiz, like this.

I use Wordpress. Everything is updated, both WP, the them and the plugins I use.

I use a desktop, Windows 10. Everything runs smooth.

I use H5P 1.11.3 and all quizzes are updated as well.

From the 15 dictation quizes created since Januari 24th, just two work. See this page.

It's a visual problem. Instead of a quiz, I see a grey line: screenshot

Last information I can give are the console errors. (Of which I have no knowledge). Here's a list of the console errors. Good Luck! Hope you can help me:

I've checked. From the fifteen most recent dictation quizes, only two show up when finished in Chrome/Windows 10. Everything updated...

I apologize for the delay. I have forwarded this to the core team but I'm afraid they are currently trying to release a new content type. They should get back to once they've look into your issue. Also if anyone in the community has any inputs it would be much appreciated.

Some old library versions have their own custom third parameter. Could it have to something with that? I do remember updating the library and after that I have gotten this issue...

just a note regarding your question for a reason for not getting a reply instantly: This forum is essentially intended to be community driven. I think it's pretty rare to get a free software/service by a company and also free support by the core development team on top. So kudos that they find time to answer questions next to coding!

Please make sure that both the plugin and the content types are up-to-date. Also, check that you've run content upgrade for all you content on the Libraries page.
