Logs & statistics; version updates

Hello,

I have two separate questions this morning:

1. Using H5P inside Moodle, is there any way I can see detailed logs & statistics for regarding all of the participants in a cetrain course? For example: viewing stats & dropout rates for a specific video; stats for mid-video questions like % of correct answers, # of retry's etc.? I wasn't able to find anything besides the gradebook info, which only shows the total grade for each video.

2. After updating to version 1.7 (again, inside Moodle), does the existing content (IV, CP) switch to 1.7 automatically, or do we have to create all of the content again, from scratch?

Hi Uriyam,

1. H5P emits data in the form of xAPI statements. I highly recommend looking through these documentation:

2. You don't have to recreate the contents. All you need to do for the old contents to use the new libraries is to refresh the library cache in Moodle. To do this go to Site Administration -> Plugins -> Under activity modules "H5P libraries" -> click on "Update Content Type Cache".

1. That seems rather complex, investing that much energy in getting simple stats. Thanks for the info though.
