Download the content

Loving H5P. An amazing resource.
I have a suggestion for H5P: The ability to "download" content.
I'm not sure exactly what that looks like in practice... but for portability and security, it would be nice to be able to download and keep something (html code? Just a text-based version?) of the resources.
So, for example, suppose I make a multiple choice question type. To keep a local copy, for my resources and for use elsewhere, it would be nice to be able to download something akin to:
What is 1 + 1?
2
3
11
121
Is that feasible? Possible? Useful?

Hi Peter,
Thanks a lot for contributing your ideas on how to make H5P better! We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful.
There would be some technical hurdles that needs to be addressed for this to happen. Right now the downloaded file is similar to a .zip file packaged as a .h5p. This looks simpler but a total revamp of the code is needed for this to work in a way that we can still re-use it as a content for H5P. But nonetheless this is a very neat idea :-)

Hi Peter,
If the author of the content enabled the option to download there should be a download button at the bottom of the content (screenshot attached). Please note that to use the downloaded file you need to either upload it to H5P.org or to one of the supported frameworks (Drupal, Wordpress or Moodle) with H5P installed in it.

Ah yes. I see that now :->
Still, it would be nice to be able to donwload a text-based version for simplicity. But that is certainly better than nothing.
Even better, be nice to be able to *upload* a textfile with (say) the question and the options...
Thanks.

Hi P,I agree with you
Hi P,
I agree with you specially with textfile to create contents.
Anyway I think these are great suggestions and once the supporter program is up this request will certainly have my vote :-)
