Essay Question - Display of summary Sample Solution

Hi,

I've been playing around with the new Essay question type to see if it could replace another plugin we are using for open type questions.

Even though we aren't currently planning to identify key words in student responses (we simply need to enable them to add a response and then present a model answer to them), I think this question type could do what we need.

However, the display of the Sample Solution appears to struggle if you enter multiple paragraphs.

I've created a short screencast video to show what I'm experiencing:

Thanks for the great bug report -- because a bug it was, indeed. I just fixed it and created a new release on github, and I guess it'll be on h5p.org and in the Hub very soon.

Also, with regards to the Essay question type, do you know if there are any plans to include the ability to add images to the question that is posed to students and also the ability to add images to the summary feedback to students? We'd find that very useful indeed.

I know from a reliable source that the latest version already has the option to add an image or a video on top ;-) However, it still has to undergo review and has to be pushed "into production".

One final question....are there any plans to add extra functionality to format text in the editor for H5P questions (in particular web links and bullet points)? We'd find that super useful for the Essay question in particular but also for various other types we use.

Hi Simon!

To my knowledge, there are no particular plans to add more options to the "text input field" in general, sorry. But you can, of course, file in a feature request or have someone look at the source code, make the necessary changes and make a pull request.

I'm just been creating something similar to Simons essay example. I know this was a while ago and the bug had been fixed but it's still doing the weird column thing with my sample solution text.
