Interactive Video Thumbnail not showing black bars

I uploaded a thumbnail image to the H5P interactive video- the image is full size and has no boarder or transparent pixeles. Yet when I view the video there are black bars on either side of the thumbnail. This just started happening after the 7.x-1.33 Drupal update.

I am unable to reproduce the issue that you mentioned above. Would it be possible to provide a sample content so that we can check?
