Quiz (Question Set)

I'm trying to wrap my head around the Score Range settings for each Question type as compared to the Score Range for the entire quiz. Does having the Score Range individually form a weighted grade? Does one setting override the other? 

If weighted, I am unable to make this function work. On the final question offered, if I add more than the 0-100% range and then get a correct answer, the Results button does not appear and I cannot see my final score. If anyone is able to provide some clarification, it'll be greatly appreciated.

We have been experiencing issues with our students clicking on a Quiz, and the content doesn't display.

The only work around we have is that if you go in to the editor view of the quiz and click save, it will "reset" for all users and WILL display properly.

The way our course is set up, we have a new batch of students going through a course every 2 weeks so it's a constant re-occuring issue for our schoolhouse.

Question: Is it possible to disable the Retry button located at the end of the Quiz (Question Set) type? see the screenshot attached.
