H5P OER Hub

Hi there,

I am currently looking at HP5 as an option for creating interactive video quizzes. However, I had some questions about some of the development of H5P OER Hub and some of the features it has. The first is: Is a potential release date of the H5P OER Hub? The second is: Can Wiris be embedded with the interactive quiz such that mathematical symbols can be used in questions (as questions and answers)? The third is: Will the pricing of HP5  change on the release of the hub?

Hi Jack,

  1. The OER HUB should be around the corner I just don't have an exact date when it will be released but as far as I know it's quite close to completion.
  2. I'm afraid Wiris cannot be embedded but you can use LaTeX to add mathematical symbols.
  3. I don't think there will be any price changes to H5P.com once the Hub has been released. You can check with the Customer Success team to be sure. You can send them an e-mail at [email protected]

I actually had another question too... How customizable will the interactive quiz be? By this I mean, would it be possible to do things such as change the background from white to a different colour?

Hi Jack,

It depends on the content you are going to use. Course Presentation's background can be changed on the editor. For most contents changes such as the background can onbly be changed using a PHP hook, to add your own CSS-file to the content type. Please visit the Visual Changes page for more details.
