Fill in the gaps freezes whole H5P

Hi all, 

I have loads of fill in the gap activities on my platform, but there is a single fill in the gap activity that drives me crazy.

When one fills in the last item, the activity freezes H5P completely, and of course we don't get the solutions either. (see the 3 attachments)

So, one has to sign out and move on to another activity, thus ignoring that activity. 

When I look at the code I can't see anything wrong, in the back office neither. I've even tried to create it completely again and it does the same thing..

I just don't get it. Before dropping it out completely, I thought I'd ask if it has even happened to you ...

Hi Nathalie,

Would you mind sharing some additional information below:

  1. Platform and version number. E.g. Drupal, Wordpress, Moodle.
  2. Mobile or Desktop
  3. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  4. H5P plugin version
  5. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL or attached H5P.
  6. Any browser console errors
  7. Any PHP errors
  8. Screenshots if it's a visual problem

If it worked before:

  1. Any recent changes to the environment (new plugins/modules, updates, configuration changes etc.)
  2. Any recent changes to the browser you're using (new extensions, updates etc.)

Hi Nathalie!

It's a computational problem caused by all the alternatives that you allow - the content type will have to compute all possible combinations across all answers for reporting. An alternative approach has been used in the latest version of Fill in the Blanks that has not been released unfortunately to the best of my knowledge.
