Updated H5P version not working

I am getting an error to load admin page due to syntax error in H5P plugin. I cannot access my admin page and whenever I try, the following message appears:
"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /var/www/auburnonline/wp-content/plugins/h5p/admin/class-h5p-privacy-policy.php on line 580"

I think the PHP version doesn't support the new version so which minmum version of PHP does it support?
