Sound alert in interactive videos inconsistent

I'd like to report an accessibility/bug issue with interactive videos. I have two videos set up with multiple checkpoint questions so that when a question pops up, it is 1) a poster, 2) the video automatically pauses, and 3) it *should* play a chime sound to alert screen reader users that the video has paused for a question (otherwise, there is no way for a blind user to know if the video is paused for a question or if the video is simply over). All of my checkpoint questions have the same settings and use the same sound file. The chime plays maybe 1 out of 8 times. It also changes which questions it works for—sometimes the video will chime on the first checkpoint, sometimes the second, sometimes none at all. I can't detect a pattern for when it does and does not work except that it never works on all checkpoint questions in the same play. I really like interactive videos! But without this working consistently, it is not an accessible tool, and I will not be able to use it in our program. Help please! (I was also asked to post what screen reader I am using. I am not a screen reader user. That said, this is not an issue that would need to be tested with a screen reader--it should happen automatically and does not have anything to do with screen reader interactivity.)

I can't tell about your audio
I can't tell about your audio issue, because I would not know how you set it up to play a chime sound in the first place, but I can tell you that screen readers will
You may not be a screen reader user, but that is what people with visual impairments who actually use a screen reader will hear and learn - so I don't think there is a need to add chime sounds.
Either way: Please let the H5P community know how you try to add those sounds and ideally share a link to the content so someone who has some time could check.
