Fill in the blanks - Spaces disappear

Hi everyone

we run a Drupal-based LMS. We frequently use Fill in the blanks activities where learners have to type in more than one word in a gap. The trouble is: when you start typing and make a space, after a short time the cursor will jump back. It happens in all common browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).This impairs UX as people not only have to focus on the correct input but also on the cursor behaviour. We reached out to #otacke (THANK YOU!) about this who has created a pull request already: https://github.com/h5p/h5p-blanks/pull/135. Maybe with his proposal this issue can be fixed quite easily?!
