Interactive video should support mov files

I want to be able to post videos from my phone.

Currently only mp4s and webms are supported, which is extremely limiting.

What video formats does your phone provide ? To my knowledge there is no standard for this, so please elaborate.

Formats supported are generally limited by the modern browsers' built in support for the HTML5 video player. Do you have any suggestions for how to convert videos in the browser ?

You can of course convert the videos yourself before uploading them as a workaround for uploading videos from your phone. H5P.com will feature video transcoding and optimization when launched if that is something you would be interested in.
