Quiz Set Never Finishes Loading in WordPress Editor

When I go into an existing Quiz Set in my H5 editor in WordPress the questions show that they are loading but in the end, they never load no matter how long I wait, making it impossible to update. If anyone else has experienced this issue I would love to know if/how you were able to resolve it. Here is a little more context. 

  • All my WordPress plugins are updated as well as my theme. 
  • I deactivated all other plugins to see if there was a conflict but the issue persisted. 
  • I can see the Quiz display correctly for the site visitors so the questions are there. 
  • In the console, I am getting a few error messages on the Edit view where it is trying to load the questions. They may or may not be related. (see attached image)



If any more context or info would be helpful please drop me a note. I probably have about 200 of these that are having the issue.

I am experiencing a very similar situation and I haven't  yet found any solution.

Hey Paolo,

I was actually able to get some help from the H5P team. What it ended up being for me was the older version of H5P didn't work great with WordPress translation plugins. So what I had to do was to deactivate the translation plugin on my site then go in and resave the H5P elements that were having the issue. By doing that the element was able to upgrade and is now compatible with my translator plugin once I turned it back on. I hope that is helpful!
