Multiple choice design is leading

The multiple choice design can be leading if you want to create a quiz where only one choice is correct but the question asks for one or more features describing the response.
The response boxes should always be squares or always be circles, otherwise the user is given an immediate 'hint' that there is only one correct response.

Hi Paul
MCQs can actually do what you described. You only need to set the "Question Type" to "Multiple Choice" you can find this setting under beahavioural settings. I created a simple content, it has 2 quetions the first one is set to automatic and the 2nd question is set as MCQ.

Update labelling
Thanks BV! You are always very helpful.
The dropdown label is not immediately obvious. It should read something like "Single/Multiple Selections"? And then the dropdown would make sense in context i.e. reading "Automatic" implies an automatic single or multiple selection. "Question Type" in isolation with "Automatic" is ambiguous.
The description, "Select the look and behaviour of the question" is also not informative, this could also give more specific information on this actual question type.
This generic labelling is confusing on some of the other questions as well for builders. I'm not sure how easy this would be to implement? I'll have a look in the locale language files when I get a chance...

I will mention this to the developers. It should be an easy change but as always it has to go through a llot of testing,. You never know what a "simple" change may have an effect on existing content.
