H5P disappearing when clicking on it

Hello all,

I have had a problem the H5P Book; When I load the chapter it is on (Open LMS based on Moodle) the book appears normally, but when I click on it, the whole content (the H5P, the title of the chapter, anything else there is on that chapter) disappears. When I refresh the page, it shows up normally again. Is this a known bug? Is there a way to troubleshoot this?

Hi SSKKY,

No this is not a known bug and this is the first time I've heared of this issue. In order to give your bug report the best chance of getting answered, please include the following information:

  1. Detailed steps to reproduce the bug (exactly how and when did it happen)
  2. Platform and version number. E.g. Drupal, Wordpress, Moodle.
  3. Mobile or Desktop
  4. Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc
  5. H5P plugin version
  6. H5P content type and version (if a content type was used), and a sample URL or attached H5P.
  7. Any browser console errors
  8. Any PHP errors
  9. Screenshots if it's a visual problem
  10. Any recent changes to the environment (new plugins/modules, updates, configuration changes etc.)
  11. Any recent changes to the browser you're using (new extensions, updates etc.)

The more information you provide, the quicker the community will be able to fix it and the quicker you'll have a working solution!

Hey BV,

 

1. I add the H5P to the chapter. It appears there normally, but when I in the book click to go to the next page, the whole content of the chapter (including the chapter name) disappear. 

2. Moodle 3.10

3. Happens in desktop and mobile.

4. Tried in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Happens in all.

Our Moodle version is getting updated in a few weeks, so if there isn't a known solution or the issue is not on your end, then hopefully the updated Moodle fixes it.
