Flashcards Accessibility: Answer box traps focus
On a Flashcard: If I use my keyboard to navigate to the answer box and start typing it traps focus. This prevents me from using the arrow keys to navigate to the task description, image, or question on the card – and every and every other card in the deck. I can hear the question if I Tab to the Check button, then Shift+Tab back to the answer box, but this is not a suitable solution.
Flashcard Test: Good or Bad Holiday Ideas
Further, when I use the arrow keys it is difficult for me – a sighted user – to tell what is going on because there is no visible indication of focus on any of the clickable elements: Answer, Hint, Check, Previous, or Next button.
I am using I am using Chrome Version 89.0.4389.72 on a PC.
The problem occurs in the H5P editor and when I embed the content in Canvas.
Related keyboard navigation and screen-reader issues with Flashcards:
1. Currently the Check button is before the Hint button
2. The card is announced as "One slash six" instead of “Card one of six”. Can I change this?
